ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Counterintelligence (CI) Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Performing ongoing reviews of intelligence and open-source information to conduct research and analysis required to develop new and/or update previous analytical products.
  • Conducting research and analysis of a variety of CI threats impacting customer resources and producing tailored threat awareness briefings based on their analysis. Briefings shall address threats covering geographic locations, trends, topics of specific functional areas of interest, and potential courses of action/recommendations.
  • Performing research and analysis for the production of analytical threat assessments of designated customer resources, companies within the customer supply chain, programs and activities, and assisting in the development of risk mitigation actions to be taken by the Government. This may include conducting all-source research for corroborating data and providing analytical summaries to security personnel that help put the specific threat into perspective. It may require field support in the form of debriefings, and coordination and liaison with counterpart agencies and other stakeholders. In addition, events may warrant daily briefings or written products addressing emerging threats.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in foreign area studies, International Relations, security studies, History, Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, Space Systems, or Political Science and 15 years of relevant experience with Intelligence and/or Counterintelligence.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's: Associates' degree and 20 years of relevant experience with Intelligence and/or Counterintelligence.
  • Experience conducting all-source research, analysis, and production of finished intelligence on a variety of different computer systems and databases per the applicable level stated in the table below.
  • Production in of one or more of the following areas: Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE) operations; information operations; counterespionage and economic/industrial espionage; technology protection and illicit technology transfer; CI investigations support; Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM); Research, Development, and Acquisition (RDA)
  • Experience in Counterintelligence and interaction with one or more of the following disciplines: Supply Chain, Cybersecurity, Space/Counterspace per the applicable level stated in the table below.
  • Experience with analytical tools and methodologies such as link analysis, timelines, causal-loop analysis, and risk management analysis per the applicable level of experience.
  • Experience working with the IC or DoD elements and ability to know where to go within the intelligence/technical communities for expert advice.
  • Knowledge of security practices to safeguard classified information and DoD Intelligence Oversight policies.
  • Knowledge and experience of basic analytical tradecraft, to include, but not limited to: accessing and processing data from common classified and open-source research tools, evaluating disparate data sets and conflicting data sources, recognizing and countering bias, integrating competing information and dissenting opinions to generate a unit-level perspective, and applying structured analytic techniques

Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of customer satellite systems and technologies.
  • All-source analyst experience.
  • Due diligence research experience.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
