TIAG is seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Technician with specialized experience in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Department of Defense (DoD) Electronic Security Systems.
This position plays a vital role in sustaining mission readiness by ensuring the optimal performance of critical equipment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 60% CONUS/OCONUS
Clearance: Active Secret clearance; TS preferred

Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on servers, clients, switches, signal processors, and displays
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic tools, test equipment,
- and technical documentation
- Repair and replace defective components, modules, and wiring
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications per
- company protocols
- Maintain accurate records for equipment history, parts inventory, and service
- schedules
- Support the installation and commissioning of new electronic security equipment
- Provide technical assistance to technicians and system operators
- Stay up to date on technology advancements and industry best practices
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and operational regulations
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical capabilities
- Travel to remote sites for field maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
- 5-7 years of hands-on electronics maintenance experience, focusing on Electronic Security Systems
- Strong foundation in analog/digital circuitry, RS485, and signal processing
- Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multimeters)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport
Preferred Experience:
- Certifications or experience with vendors such as Lenel, Bosch, Milestone, HID, Life Safety Power, Hanwha, Pelco, etc.
- Proficiency in communication protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP)
- Familiarity with computer-based maintenance systems
- Soldering and PCB repair experience
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations
