In order to qualify, you must meet the Specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Management and Program Analysis Series, 0343
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 (or higher) grade level or equivalent (may have been obtained in the federal service, military, or public sector). Example of Specialize experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of Non-Appropriated Fund level plans and programs for conducting major operations such as mission and flight operations, deployment, mobilization, exercise, flying training systems, rescue, special operations, or similar operations. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of the various command entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operations and evaluations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position (GS-12). NOTE: Your resume must show experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of NAF level plans and programs for conducting major operations such as mission and flight operations, deployment, mobilization, exercise, flying training systems, rescue, special operations, or similar operations Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization. Skill and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Knowledge of methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of the various command entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operations and evaluations. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Organization, ensuring that Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and unit Readiness complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- Represents organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- Manages, analyzes, evaluates, and coordinates operational plans for NAF assets to execute readiness exercises for units. Evaluates readiness issues, exercise taskings, and develops recommendations to resolve substantive problems/issues of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a NAF program.
- Coordinates and documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet Air Force and Numbered AF requirements.

- This position is centrally managed in the Operations Career Field. PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft/vehicle to conferences, meetings, or functions away from the duty office/location. Travel may include overnight stays.
- This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.
