Network Administrator
The Opportunity:

That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network our defense clients need.
As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your skills to help support the nation's defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries. You'll increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You'll apply your knowledge as you join our team of problem-solvers to help our defense clients evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies.
Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience, you'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- Experience with network operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux
- Experience with cybersecurity concepts and implementation
- Knowledge of network protocols and services, including TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Knowledge of network design and configuration tools
- Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, ECS, RDS, and asso cia ted cloud architecture
- Ability to script or automate using Python or PowerShell
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 14+ years of experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment at scale , Associate's degree and 12+ years of experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment at scale , Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment at scale , or Master's degree and 1+ years of experience using, configuring, and troubleshooting networking equipment at scale
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in research, systems engineering, or IT infrastructure projects
- Experience with military sof tware and System of System testing
- Experience planning and operating military tactical networking, including battle command platforms and transport layers
- Experience with the employment of battle command systems in support of military operations
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Possession of excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Possession of excellent communication and technical writing skills
- Secret clearance
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA or CCNP Certification
