Position Overview
Quantum Science Solutions (QSS) is seeking a seasoned Systems Architect to design,
evaluate, and guide the implementation of enterprise-level technology solutions. The
selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to
ensure that system designs meet business, technical, and operational objectives while
maintaining high standards for security, performance, and scalability.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in enterprise architecture, cloud integration,
Agile methodologies, and emerging technology evaluation, along with a strong ability to
mentor and guide engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Capture, validate, and manage requirements for SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and custom applications.
• Serve as SharePoint Designer and implement low-code/no-code platform solutions.
• Lead matrixed technical teams in delivering architecturally sound solutions.
• Provide system architecture guidance and recommendations for enterprise IT projects.
• Configure and administer Linux, Windows OS, Apache, Tomcat, Express servers, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources using Bash, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.
• Evaluate, design, and integrate REST and SOAP web services.
• Support PKI certificate management, TLS encryption, Oracle Wallet security configurations, and DevOps tool integration (Jenkins, GitHub).
• Conduct regression, unit, and acceptance testing, including automated test script development.
• Ensure compliance with usability and accessibility standards and user-centered design principles.
• Develop and conduct prototypes to validate proposed products and services.
• Collaborate with software architects, technical directors, and developers to define design guidance, interface standards, and technology selections.
• Conduct technical assessments of proposals, evaluate alternatives, and recommend technology insertion strategies.
• Analyze integration and interoperability challenges in system/service development plans, considering both technical and programmatic aspects.
• Provide business and technical consulting to define and achieve strategic objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Maintain architectural documentation and ensure alignment with technical baselines.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in enterprise systems architecture and technical leadership.
• Strong proficiency in multiple development languages and frameworks (JavaScript, Java, NodeJS, Angular, HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, XML, Python, Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with AWS services, cloud automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced knowledge of database and server administration.
• Strong understanding of secure software development, system optimization, and scalability best practices.
• Experience with Agile environments, backlog management, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and integrate emerging technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
