Position Overview
Quantum Science Solutions (QSS) is seeking a highly skilled Requirements Specialist to
lead the capture, validation, and management of technical requirements for enterprise
scale IT solutions. This role will interface with stakeholders, mission partners, and
technical teams to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant requirements that drive
successful system design, development, and deployment.
The ideal candidate will possess deep experience with requirements engineering, Agile
environments, technical solutioning, and collaboration across diverse teams, along with
strong expertise in modern cloud, low-code/no-code, and secure application
environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Capture, document, track, and report technical and business requirements from
mission partners to delivery teams.
• Facilitate requirements workshops, validation sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Identify and validate requirements for SharePoint, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and custom applications.
• Serve as SharePoint Designer and develop features for low-code/no-code platforms.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with architecture guidelines.
• Lead matrixed technical teams to deliver requirements-based solutions.
• Provide application support and requirements for database, cloud, and infrastructure projects.
• Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and in compliance with usability and accessibility standards.
• Support database administration, system configuration, and automation efforts (AWS, Bash, Terraform).
• Coordinate with cloud service providers, system engineers, and architecture teams to address dependencies.
• Apply DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub) to support requirements for CI/CD environments.
• Provide risk assessment and gap analysis related to requirements execution.
• Support system integration testing (UAT, regression) to confirm requirements are met.
• Maintain all requirements documentation in sponsor-approved repositories.
• Communicate requirement changes, impacts, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mission partners to anticipate future requirements and opportunities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Proven experience capturing, validating, and managing IT requirements in Agile environments.
• Proficiency in SharePoint design, ServiceNow/Salesforce development, and low code/no-code solutions.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, XML, SQL, Python, and related development languages.
• Knowledge of AWS services, cloud automation, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience with database administration (MySQL, MongoDB) and system/server environments (Linux, Windows).
• Familiarity with usability/accessibility standards and secure application development.
• Skilled in requirements traceability, impact analysis, and compliance reporting.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub).
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to ensure requirement clarity.
Education Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
