Position Overview
Quantum Science Solutions (QSS) is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to lead
Agile development teams supporting mission-critical technology projects for a U.S.
Government customer. The selected candidate will facilitate sprint planning, manage
backlog priorities, mentor teams, and ensure the efficient delivery of secure, high-quality
products in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires hands-on leadership in Agile methodologies, advanced technical
capabilities, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams working on modern
cloud-based and low-code/no-code solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead Agile teams in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage project backlogs, portfolios, and sprint progress using Jira and Confluence.
• Oversee multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously.
• Identify and validate requirements for SharePoint sites, ServiceNow, Salesforce, and
custom applications.
• Act as a SharePoint Designer, developing features and improving
stability/performance of applications.
• Utilize JavaScript, low-code/no-code platforms, and cloud automation tools to
implement solutions.
• Configure and administer Amazon Linux, Windows OS, Apache, Tomcat, Express
servers, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Automate processes using Bash, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and DevOps
tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
• Conduct database support including patches, migrations, backup/recovery, and
performance tuning.
• Perform regression, unit, and UAT testing, including automated script creation.
• Apply usability, accessibility, and user-centered design principles to application
interfaces.
• Provide architectural guidance, security enhancements (PKI, TLS, Oracle Wallet), and integration support for production cloud environments.
• Maintain compliance with system monitoring, auditing, and security directives.
• Deliver Agile coaching, training, and mentorship to project teams and mission
partners.
• Prepare and present technical briefings, documentation, and monthly program
reviews.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Demonstrated experience as an Agile Scrum Master delivering enterprise-scale
technology solutions.
• Proven expertise in Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience in SharePoint design, ServiceNow/Salesforce development, and lowcode/no-code solutions.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, XML, Bootstrap, AngularJS,
NodeJS, Java, Python, SQL.
• Cloud automation experience with Bash, Terraform, AWS services (S3, KMS, Load
Balancer, Autoscaling).
• DevOps tool experience with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Strong background in database administration (MySQL, MongoDB) and
system/server management.
• Knowledge of usability/accessibility standards and secure application development
practices.
• Experience managing Agile consulting engagements, including coaching and
mentoring teams.

Education Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or
related field.
• Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

• Familiarity with AWS security best practices, OpenSSL, TLS protocols.
• Experience with COTS product integration and maintenance.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Experience with risk management, schedule coordination, and budget tracking.
