Amentum is seeking Junior Laboratory Operations Information Technology Specialists to join our team.
You will be part of our growing systems, information technology & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts in support of our Centers of Excellence.

- Provides knowledge and analysis of IT applications and operational environments, functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on various problems.
- Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications.
- Provides technical support on tasks or technology assignments.
- Provides strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff
- Provides analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
Minium Qualifications and Skills:
- Three (3) years of experience in Naval Tactical Systems or Information Technology that includes one (1) year of experience demonstrating an established knowledge base and subject matter expertise.
- Requires a DoD 8570.01-M or successor Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
- Must have an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Candidates must maintain a valid Real ID driver's license required for access to customer site and have access to reliable transportation (rideshare options such as Uber, Lyft etc. are not permitted) as this position requires occasional travel between local worksites during the week.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is desired.
