Project Manager / Scrum Master - AIE
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Description:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to join our team. The Project Manager / Scrum Master serves as a key member of a technically sophisticated Agile team supporting the Army's Accessions Information Environment (AIE). This role is responsible for enabling effective Agile execution, ensuring delivery of bi-weekly releases, managing technical documentation, supporting defect resolution, and promoting collaboration among cross-functional teams working on a Salesforce and MuleSoft-based platform. The PM / Scrum Master ensures adherence to DoD, Army, and contract-specific governance, security, and reporting requirements.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of team operations across Salesforce configuration, MuleSoft integration, defect triage, and DevSecOps activities.
- Manage schedules, deliverables, and bi-weekly production releases.
- Ensure all work is prioritized based on severity and government direction; escalate risks/issues appropriately.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track all technical, functional, and operational work using AIE Agile tools (ADO/Azure DevOps).
- Remove obstacles to team progress and ensure continuous throughput.
- Ensure team alignment with Agile best practices, per Agile Manifesto and DoD/Army Agile guidance.
- Ensure all deliverables, reports, and related data items meet contract, Army, and DoD standards and deadlines.
- Serve as a primary interface for government stakeholders, including the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and technical leads.
- Proactively communicate progress, risks, impediments, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with both government and contractor staff to ensure alignment and expectations management.
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Salesforce and/or MuleSoft platforms and understanding of CI/CD best practices in a federal/DOD context
- Experience facilitating and tracking Agile development projects using modern ALM/Agile tools (ADO/Azure DevOps).
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills; proven success with technical documentation, executive briefs, and stakeholder engagement.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have an active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with U.S. Army personnel, recruiting, or accessioning systems
- Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud and/or federal Salesforce implementations.
- PMP or PgMP certification.
- Current Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent).
- Experience delivering in high-security, rapid deployment government programs, including incident and defect triage
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline; Master's preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in an Agile Scrum Master and/or Project Manager role within large-scale IT, cloud, or DevSecOps environments.
