Description
Maintain and enhance IT Service Management infrastructure while ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction Perform application development utilizing the BMC Remedy/Helix/ITSM platform Administer and maintain baseline, overlaid, and custom applications Plan, test, and implement system upgrades to ensure platform currency and stability Maintain and optimize Remedy Change Management, Release Management, Problem Management, and Task Management modules Ensure process workflows align with organizational requirements and industry best practices Administer application data on a daily basis Process queries and generate reports as requested by end users Interface directly with customers to troubleshoot issues and provide technical resolution Work closely with cross-functional team members to ensure cross-platform module compatibility and standardization Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Remedy systems, integrations, and modules to provide backup support for team members De-conflict competing requests and requirements to ensure optimal resource allocation Establish, maintain, and follow documented processes and procedures Ensure compliance with established protocols and continuous improvement initiatives Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Utilize strong communication and customer service abilities Work collaboratively in a team environment Adapt to new situations Work late night maintenance windows to support patching as needed Work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Other duties as assigned

Salary: $105,000 - 120,000

Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Must have, or obtain within 90 days of start, a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+)
Experience:
- 5+ years of directly related software developer experience
- Proven experience with the BMC Remedy/Helix ITSM platform
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks
- Experience with system administration and application development within Remedy/Helix
- Willing, and able, to work late-night maintenance windows to support patching and system updates
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
