Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the qualifications of the organization's cybersecurity personnel. Contractors are tasked with managing and tracking the professional development of the cyber workforce, ensuring that team members meet or exceed required certifications, training, and skill levels necessary to address evolving cybersecurity challenges. This includes assessing current workforce capabilities, identifying gaps in expertise, and implementing targeted training programs to enhance qualifications. Responsible for ensuring alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals in accordance with the DOD 8140 series policies.
Responsibilities:
*Track employee cyber qualification requirements and maintain accurate records in approved Information System (ie. CyberSTAR, Sharepoint, and Excel,..).
*Aid in the development and sustainment of Agency cyber workforce policies and procedures.
*Monitor qualification expiration dates and ensure timely notification of requalification requirements (e.g. 90, 45, 30-day notifications)
*Take meeting minutes during the bi-monthly Cyber Workforce Meetings and DOD Cyber Workforce Working Groups with the established POCs.
*Aid in the design an Agency Cyber Workforce SharePoint page where new policies, guidance, and cyber workforce opportunities will be posted.
*Design a dashboard/workflow for monthly metrics on the compliance rate by employee type and division.
*Design a dashboard/workflow that submits a weekly report to the Cyber Workforce POCs of personnel that are non-compliant and within 30-days of expiration.
*Design a dashboard/workflow that will submit a monthly report to Cyber Workforce POCs with recommendations on any discrepancies found in cyber workforce coding requirements.
Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance
At least 5 years of related experience
DoD IAM II / IAT II required certification/s (one of the following):
o CAP
o CASP+ CE
o CISM
o CISSP (or Associate)
o GSLC
o CCISO
o HCISPP
o CCNA-Security
o CySA+
o GICSP
o GSEC
o Security+ CE
o CND
o SSCP
