Evaluate the existing policies and procedures that govern the organization's compliance and cybersecurity program and ensure the policies & procedures are current, effective, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. This includes assisting in reviewing existing policies and procedures, recommending to the government whether they are still in line with organizational goals, and suggesting improvements.
Responsibilities:
*Draft new policies and procedures as required by business needs, regulatory changes, and best practices.
*Review and update existing policies to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
*Conduct policy gap analyses to identify and address any policy deficiencies.
*Assist the government with policies to ensure that they are aligned with organizational goals, objectives, and risk tolerance.
*Review and comment on internal IT issuance for compliance and cybersecurity equity and inclusion
*Develop and implement effective communication strategies to disseminate policies and procedures to employees.
*Conduct training and awareness sessions to educate employees on policy requirements.
*Provide support to employees with questions or concerns regarding policies.
*Monitor and track policy/procedural compliance.
*Monthly review and update policies and documentation to reflect changes in cyber operations, technology, and regulatory requirements.
*Conduct an annual policy and procedural audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance
At least 5 years of related experience
DoD IAM II / IAT II required certification/s (one of the following):
o CAP
o CASP+ CE
o CISM
o CISSP (or Associate)
o GSLC
o CCISO
o HCISPP
o CCNA-Security
o CySA+
o GICSP
o GSEC
o Security+ CE
o CND
o SSCP
