Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Configuration Team Manager for a team of 6 Logistics Configuration analyst, supporting the US Navy Fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of logistics configuration Analyst, overseeing the development and maintenance of Integrated Logistic Support documentation, provisioning technical documentation, and performing logistics and sustainment analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
  • Manage a team of 6 Logistics Configuration Analyst, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team members are successful and growing in their roles
  • Develop and implement team goals, objectives, and priorities, aligning with organizational objectives, US Navy Fleet requirements and NAWCAD WOLF
  • Foster a collaborative and dynamic team environment, promoting open communication, innovation, and problem-solving
Configuration Management
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of configuration management documentation, including Shipboard Configuration Summaries, Master Parts List, and Drawing Tree documentation
  • Ensure configuration management documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with US Navy regulations and procedures
  • Follow configuration management processes and procedures to meet Naval Modernization, Provisioning Milestone requirements
Provisioning and Logistics
  • Lead the development and compilation of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) using Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) and Integrated Logistics Information Tool (ILIT)
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Line Replaceable Unit reports and Depot Maintenance Inter-Service Candidate Forms in support of formal Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) assignments
Navy Modernization Program (NMP)
  • Support review of Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Cost Benefit Analysis, and SCD fielding plans within Navy Data Environment Entitled Process (NDE-EP)
  • Track and report on NMP milestones for future installations/targeted availabilities, ensure the Temas deliverable are submitted by the respective milestone- dates
Life Cycle Sustainment
  • Support organic team review of logistics and sustainment analysis, utilizing various databases and engineering data to identify high-failure candidates for sparing analysis
  • Oversee the tailoring of logistics entry and exit criteria for multiple Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) and Test Readiness Review (TRR) events
This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Some limited relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidate. Applicants must be currently residing in or willing to relocate to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in an Technical, Logistics, Science, Business, or Management discipline from an accredited school and 8-10 years of experience in configuration management, logistics, or a related field (4 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree)
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Strong knowledge of US Navy regulations and procedures (e.g., MIL-HDBK-1390, SECNAVINST 4410.23A)
Proven leadership and management skills, with experience managing a team of logistics configuration analyst
Proficiency in various software tools and databases (e.g., ICAPS, ILIT, CDMD-OA, MBPS, JETDAS)

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master's degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Experience working with US Navy Shipboard Fleet systems and equipment
Certification in configuration management or logistics (e.g., Certified Configuration Manager (CCM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM))

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
