What You'll Do:
- Partner with project and program managers to translate technical details into clear SOPs, user guides, and engineering documentation.
- Create software requirements specifications, design documentation, installation instructions, and release notes.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) for major engineering programs.
- Develop project schedules, cost estimates, and field communication plans.
- Document and standardize processes for deploying new equipment and technology.
- Support Technology Acquisition Management with evaluations, field tests, and procurement documentation.
- Produce professional reports, presentations, and technical specifications that stand up to executive review.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred in technical or business field).
- 8+ years of technical writing experience, ideally supporting software/mobile applications.
- Mastery of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Visio) and virtual meeting platforms (MS Teams, Zoom).
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to break down complex technical info.
- Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (background check & drug test required).
