Position Summary
We are seeking a Journeyman Financial Analyst to support financial tracking and planning for a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Air (PMA) program office. The position requires an understanding of Navy financial tracking systems, PMA processes, support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and interface with Defense procurement systems. This position is in a Missile System PMA and requires experience specifically with tracking financial status of Navy weapon systems.
Responsibilities
Support financial tracking and planning for a NAVAIR Program Management Air (PMA) program office
Utilize and maintain Navy financial tracking systems
Understand and follow PMA processes for program financial management
Provide financial support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Interface with Defense procurement systems to track program finances
Monitor and report the financial status of Navy missile weapon systems
Assist in budget planning, analysis, and forecasting for assigned programs
Ensure compliance with Navy and DoD financial policies and procedures
Required Education
BA/BS degree
Required Experience
At least 3 to 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the job description
Experience in a Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Management Air (PMA) office.
Desired Experience:
This is a specialized position for a Missile Systems PMA requiring experience working with Defense procurement systems and Navy weapons.
Must work onsite 100% of the time at NAVAIR, located Lexington Park, Maryland.
Must possess a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Starting salary range between $70,000 - $110,000 annually.
