JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Hands-On Lead Software Architect with 15+ years of experience in enterprise web application development to provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and active participation in Agile development teams. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, .NET, AWS, and Azure technologies, with a proven ability to design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions for complex mission-critical environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead the architecture, design, and hands-on development of enterprise-grade web applications.
· Define and implement system architectures that leverage Java, .NET, AWS, and Azure platforms.
· Guide Agile teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using DevSecOps practices.
· Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and compliance requirements.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
· Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and enforce development best practices.
· Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, optimizing workloads for AWS and Azure.
· Oversee integration of structured and unstructured data into enterprise applications.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
· 15+ years in web application development with strong proficiency in:
o Java, Spring Boot
o NET / ASP.NET Core / C#
o AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
· Azure (PaaS, DevOps, Functions, App Services, etc.)
· Proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale, secure, cloud-enabled solutions.
· Expertise in Agile development methodologies and DevSecOps pipelines.
· Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
· Experience with database technologies (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB).
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
· Experience with government or DoD systems and compliance requirements.
· ITIL or cloud certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).
· Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
· Experience with advanced security practices and zero-trust architecture.
· Background in Business Intelligence (BI), data analytics, or AI/ML integration.
