We are seeking a qualified Test & Evaluation Technician to support the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Program. This role is essential to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of advanced nuclear hardness testing laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and testing of customer-provided test articles in electromagnetic environments (EMI, EMC, EMP).
- Configure instrumentation and systems to ensure safe and effective test execution.
- Operate and maintain test stands and support equipment in Electromagnetic Effect (EME) labs.
- Design and upgrade test hardware, software, and systems to meet evolving test requirements.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems during test operations.
- Lead and monitor test execution, document activities, and respond to unforeseen events.
- Support the development of test procedures, debrief materials, and data analysis.
- Participate in safety and readiness reviews to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Maintain configuration control of test articles and systems using formal processes.
- Design experimental models, fixtures, and instrumentation systems using mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
- Utilize machine shop tools and integrate a wide range of test instrumentation.
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
- Background in engineering test support within a laboratory or field test environment.
- Welding and fabrication experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under general supervision and contribute to team-based test operations.
- Typically acquired through an associate degree and 1+ years of related experience,
or a bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related experience,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
