Job Description
We're building a network of highly motivated Software Developers interested in putting their knowledge into to work developing, deploying and maintaining advanced, complex operational networks. These role are typically hybrid with office days in Lorton, VA and may include some travel in the DC metro area.
What You'll Be Doing
Front-end Development. Implementing and optimizing the user interface components of the application. Ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across various devices and platforms. Transitioning, modernizing, and sustaining the main code base of the application. Collaborating to implement new features, enhance existing functionality, and address any technical debt to ensure the application meets evolving mission requirements. Completing transitioning activities to include requirement reviews and assessments, backlog reviews, documentation review, development environment and tooling standup. Supporting demonstrations at sprint and product increment reviews.

8+ years of experience in software, application and system development Advanced knowledge of programming languages including Python, JavaScript, HTML5, C++, Java, SQL, PHP Database (SQL) experience with preference for Postgres, familiarity with NoSQL via MongoDB UI development experience with preference for ReactJS Knowledge of system frameworks including .NET, Git, Angular JS and GitHub Experience with mobile app development Experience working with Agile development technologies Advanced project management skills and good interpersonal skills Network engineering skill are a serious plus, with focus on TCP/IP and VPN technologies Education
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of relevant experience demonstrating skills in software development, data analysis, and software testing and troubleshooting
