This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- You will plan work assignments on an immediate and long-range basis in accordance with schedules and priorities established by higher level management.
- You will determine manpower, tooling, material availability, machine capabilities, and the methods to be used.
- You will continually analyze work schedules, assignments, production costs, methods of operation, and assign and explain work to subordinate supervisors.
- You will maintain balanced workloads, meet deadlines, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and consider requirements for trade and support groups involved.
- You will perform spot check work operations and review completed work inspection reports to assure that production and quality standards are met.
- You will schedule leave, rate subordinate supervisors on performance, and review recommendations for disciplinary action, promotions, awards, and training.
- You will manage all work within an assigned zone or area of responsibility including cost, budget, schedules, and resources, providing input on time duration and sequence of work during planning phases.
