Counterintelligence Analyst SME

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

We are seeking an experienced Counterintelligence (CI) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic and operational support to full-spectrum HUMINT activities. The selected candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, offering real-time CI collaboration, policy guidance, and risk assessments to enhance the effectiveness and security of HUMINT operations. Responsibilities include conducting CI reviews, developing awareness products, participating in asset validation panels, and producing high-quality written and multimedia reports.

Counterintelligence Analyst SME Responsibilities Include:
  • Serve as a CI Subject Matter Expert and advisor for full spectrum HUMINT activity
  • Provide real-time CI collaboration, strategic policy development, and guidance to existing and future HUMINT activities
  • Develop and recommend comprehensive CI awareness and vulnerabilities assessments
  • Provide professional multimedia and written reports as directed
  • Coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups
  • Research, develop, and present CI products at the operational and strategic levels utilizing multiple CI and HUMINT reporting tools on SIPR and JWICS systems
  • Participate in Asset Validation Panels and provide accurate, in-depth CI reviews of all HUMINT activity
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Counterintelligence Analyst SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Current TS/SCI clearance
  • Completion of a formal state or federal CI training program, such as the FBI, FLETC, AFOSI, NCIS, US Army MI, JCITA, DCITA
  • Minimum of 10 years military experience as Counterintelligence Agent or equivalent service/interagency occupational specialty focused on source operations
  • Graduate of military or equivalent Interagency advanced skill associated courses
  • Graduate of JCITA Advanced CI Collections Course
  • Experience providing CI support to full spectrum HUMINT Activities and cyber operations
  • Experience collaborating with joint and federal agencies on emerging trends and threats in the area of operation
  • Must possess a valid US passport.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
