GEOINT Collection Specialist - Junior

We are seeking a skilled GEOINT Collection Specialist with hands-on experience in the GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) environment. This role requires expertise in GEOINT collection processes, data analysis, and the development of effective, situation-driven strategies to support complex intelligence requirements. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced mission environment supporting national security objectives.

Responsibilities

• Operate within GIMS to perform tasks such as GIN creation, GIN modifications, dissemination rules configuration, and OOI queries.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, extract insights, and recommend solutions for GEOINT-related challenges.
• Implement ad hoc collection strategies in response to evolving mission needs.
• Evaluate and test new capabilities, tools, and procedures within the GIMS platform.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure accurate and timely GEOINT collection in alignment with mission objectives.
• Travel up to 25% in support of operational and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIMS functionalities, including GIN creation/modification, dissemination rules, and OOI queries.
• Familiarity with analyzing data to identify patterns and draw actionable conclusions for GEOINT problem sets.
• Familiarity with situation-driven (ad hoc) GEOINT collection strategies.
• Familiarity with evaluating/testing new capabilities and procedures in GIMS.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability and willingness to take a CI polygraph.
• Ability to work onsite in Northern Virginia 40 hours per week.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience developing automated collection strategies.
• Ability to maintain a Supplier Management database and technical data within GIMS.
• Willingness to provide crisis support for critical "must-have" collection efforts.
