Mechanical Design Engineer - Intelligence Systems

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $91.52-$94.52/Hour

Advanced Mechanical Engineer job in Florham Park, New Jersey with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace / Defense company. In this job you will be a mechanical design engineer on a cross functional team responsible for creating innovative hardware solutions for demanding environments.

Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings (CREO preferred).
• Perform structural and thermal mechanical analysis to ensure performance in challenging environments.
• Apply knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods to ensure production feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with technical, government, and industry standards.
• Contribute to technical papers and proposal development.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and lead elements of complex projects.

Qualifications:

• U.S. citizen with Active DoD Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of job-related experience.
• Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD (especially CREO),
• Detailed mechanical design and drawings/documentation, mechanical analysis (structural and thermal).
