Contract Position

Recent products include: custom high-voltage regulator design, dense circuit cards for telecommunications and data storage applications, and developing unique telecommunication systems using cutting-edge components. Some of our products will fit on your fingertip, others in the palm of your hand, while some require a ship for transport. No two of our projects are quite alike, and this affords our engineering team with a variety of interesting, challenging, and relevant assignments.

Responsibilities:
- Perform analog and mixed-signal circuit design and analysis using tools such as Hyperlynx (Power Integrity & Signal Integrity) and LTSpice
- Design high-voltage regulators in compliance with safety and design rules
- Develop digital backplane designs (e.g., 3U VPX) in accordance with VITA/SOSA standards
- Lead circuit card design including architecture, assembly, and component selection
- Support R&D activities from concept through prototyping and testing
- Troubleshoot and verify electrical performance to meet stringent requirements
- Stay ahead of technology trends and apply them to new design architectures
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
- Experience: 5+ years (or Master's + 3 years) in electrical design
- Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required
- Required Skills:
- Proficiency in circuit card design and mixed-signal circuit analysis
- Experience with analog, digital, and high-voltage power systems
- Familiarity with VITA and SOSA compliance for backplane designs
- Strong troubleshooting and testing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- R&D experience in concept development, modeling, and prototyping
