Position: Visual Identity Lead
Location: Crystal City, VA
Clearance: Secret
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Responsibilities:
The Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) and the Director of Staff (HQSF/DS) require assistance in organizational planning, implementation, maturation, and strengthening of the HQ Space Force. To further the process of developing HQ USSF, a multi-faceted planning, integration, and management support team continues to implement a multi-phased, (multi-year), plan to transition HQ USSF from an initial operating capacity to full operational capacity. The Visual Identity Lead will support these efforts by performing the following functions:
• Visual Identity team coordinates with stakeholders from OSD, JS, Sister Services, Defense Logistics Agency, and the defense industrial base to design, develop, test, produce and field USSF service specific uniforms.
• Develops Physical awards presented annually to nominated Polaris Recipients.
• Responsible for development and sustainment of the USSF Space Force Corridor and Guardian Hall.
• Participates in USSF HQs uniform Boards and coordinates development and delivery of Uniform Specific awards, ranks, badges, and decorations.
• Provides USSF Senior Leader Updates on development of visual identity items.
• Represents the USSF at defense industrial base clothing and textile industry events ICW PAO conducts interview s and develops strategic messaging for progress of USSF visual identity items.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Relevant experience related to performance of business process definition and business process modeling, and information system schemes.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Active Secret security clearance.
The following qualifications are desired:
• Over Five (5) years of progressive experience in high-level technical and organizational support services
Travel: Travels approximately once every month
