Location: On-site – Arlington, VA
Conversion Salary: $96,000 hourly ($46.15/hour) equivalent during 6 month contract (switches to salary pay upon conversion at 6 months) - option to enroll in health plan at no cost, and 401K
Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cisco CUCM Technician to join our team supporting enterprise telephony operations in a mission-critical environment. This on-site role in Arlington, VA requires strong technical expertise in Cisco Unified Call Manager and related technologies, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, ITIL-driven setting.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree from an accredited institution
OR High School diploma plus 2 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience within a Cisco Unified Call Manager environment
Active CompTIA Security+CE certification at start date
Active one of the following at start date:
Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST)
CompTIA Network+CE
In-depth knowledge of DoD and industry best practices for Cisco telephony systems
Technical Expertise
Cisco hardware: Cisco 8800 Series Endpoints, Catalyst C9300 switches, Cisco Business Edition 7000 servers
Cisco software: Cisco Call Manager Version 15, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Emergency Responder
Virtualization and OS: ESXi Version 7, AlmaLinux Version 8
Key Skills & Attributes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for supporting incoming customer calls and emails
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to identify and articulate key information quickly while exercising sound judgment
Experience recommending alternative solutions to meet customer needs while building trust and credibility
