Salary Range: $120,000 - $133,000 annually depending on qualifications.
Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Analyst serves as a senior-level technical and functional expert supporting systems analysis, integration planning, data analysis, and IT modernization activities for the DoD CIO’s IE and SAP IT mission. This role provides strategic and hands-on expertise to assess existing systems, analyze data and requirements, and support the development of scalable, secure, and interoperable technical solutions across the SAP IT enterprise.________________________________________
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Analysis & Planning
• Perform comprehensive assessments of existing IT systems to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for modernization.
• Analyze business and mission requirements to propose enterprise-level technical solutions that align with DoD strategies and SAP IT objectives.
• Support requirements gathering, system lifecycle analysis, and operational use case development.
Data Integration & Analysis
• Collaborate with data services teams to support data governance, metadata standards, and system interoperability efforts.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to support architecture decisions, risk analysis, and reporting.
• Work with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity teams to ensure system data aligns with policy and compliance frameworks.
Cybersecurity and Compliance Support
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on RMF assessments, documentation support, and identifying technical risks or control gaps.
• Assist with development and validation of system security requirements, especially related to ICAM, access control, and data protection.
Architecture and Technical Collaboration
• Contribute to system architecture documentation, diagrams, and system interface requirements in support of integration and deployment planning.
• Work closely with systems engineers, architects, cybersecurity staff, and program managers to coordinate implementation roadmaps.
Project Support and Communication
• Develop briefing materials, technical summaries, and analysis reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Participate in integrated product teams (IPTs), working groups, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Track and report system dependencies, risk factors, and impacts to program timelines or policy updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• U.S. citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and SAP access eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in systems analysis, IT systems integration, or enterprise-level systems support.
• Experience in government or DoD IT environments.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53, cybersecurity controls, and IT lifecycle documentation.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and systems documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or certifications such as Security+, PMP, or AWS/Azure foundational credentials.
• Experience with DoD SAP systems, cross-domain solutions, or mission-critical enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as DoDAF or TOGAF.
• Knowledge of tools such as eMASS, ServiceNow, Innoslate, or JIRA in a federal IT environment.
