Software Engineer - USPS Engineering Support
Location: Merrifield, VA (Hybrid - 1 day/week telework after training)

MBA Consulting Services, Inc. (MBA CSi) is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support the Package Sorting Technology Group at the U.S. Postal Service Engineering HQ. You'll work alongside IT contractors to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software products and operating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support ~10 applications throughout the software development life cycle.
- Write product requirements, track development timelines, and coordinate feature sets with development leads and product teams.
- Lead and direct team members, leveraging creativity and technical expertise.
- Apply strong analytical skills to solve complex problems.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in software development.
- Education: Bachelor's in software development or related field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
- Strong skills in MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule availability.
- Must pass background check and drug test; federal clearance required (4-6 weeks to obtain; DoD clearance reciprocity may shorten timeline).
