MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposing high-level requirements for agile program increments and sprints.
- Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
- Interacts with Project Teams regarding technical considerations, problems, issues, or conflicts, and communicates with technical project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
- Ensures the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288, including Technical, Enterprise, and Agreement Process Areas.
- Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation (e.g., Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, interface control documents), ensuring alignment with architectural frameworks like UAF, regulatory and requirements compliance, and provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in field necessary to assume Systems Engineer duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- 9+ years of experience with 9+ years of relevant Systems Engineer experience.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies (e.g., ISO/IEC 15288).
- Experience with the entire systems lifecycle (concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement).
- Experience in developing systems engineering documentation and artifacts in compliance with DoD 5000.02. (e.g., Systems Engineering Plans, requirements specifications, interface control documents).
- Understanding of agile-informed development methodologies and their application in systems engineering.
- Familiarity with the UAF for integrating systems engineering artifacts with enterprise architecture.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with IT systems and cloud-based technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of specific technical domains (e.g., network engineering, software development, cybersecurity).
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or Expert System Engineering Professional (ESEP). DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification. ITIL Foundation certificate. CSEP. Project Management Professional (PMP) Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).
- Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
