Apex Systems is currently hiring for Network Technician with one of our top government clients.
Project Details / Mission Supported:
• This project supports the Network Operations Center at the Shaw Air Force Base
• Very mission critical, running the Wide Area Network in Asia
• Responsibilities include network troubleshooting, managing firewalls, etc
Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
• Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, Firewalls, Active Directory
• Active CCNA certification
• Active security+ certification
• Ability to obtain ITIL certification within 90 days of starting
• 2+ years of experience with degree, 5+ years of experience without degree
Location: Shaw AFB
Clearance Level: Secret
Shift: Panama Schedule (12 hour shifts, 2 days on, 2 days off- weekend and night work possible)
Salary/Pay range: $75-85k depending on experience
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
