HOW A CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST III - SIEM WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators
- Seasoned technical individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
- Responsible for developing solutions to technical problems and issues that may be difficult and unclear.
- Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
- Develops solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
- Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- The position requires an active SECRET security clearance.
- Education: Bachelors or four (4) years of additional experience in lieu of degree
- Required Experience: eight (8+) years of related experience
- Location: Washington, DC
- US Citizenship Required
- Timeline: This work is anticipated to start anytime between September 2025 and March 2026.
