**Apex Systems is currently hiring for Network & COMSEC Technician with an Air Force client.**
**Project Details / Mission Supported:**
• Provide operations and maintenance support for a Tech Control Facility at the Pentagon.
• Perform all operational technical control functions on government-owned or leased circuits, equipment, and facilities.
• Maintain and operate encryption devices including KG-84, KIV-7, KG-194, KG-95, KG-94, including device substitution, keying, and re-keying.
• Conduct fault isolation, circuit restoration, performance monitoring, and quality control testing.
• Support 24x7x365 operations under a Panama shift schedule.
• Maintain technical control operating records such as circuit history folders, trouble tickets, outage/restoration logs, and DISA reports.
**Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:**
• 3–5 years of experience in a technical control or patch and test facility environment.
• Completion of technical training equivalent to US military AFSC 3C2X1, MOS 31P, or EC2318, or equivalent civilian training.
• Strong working knowledge of DISA Operational Circulars.
• Familiarity with encryption devices such as KG-84, KIV-7, KG-194, KG-95, KG-94.
• Experience with COMSEC operations and equipment maintenance.
• Required Certification: DOD 8570 Level II (Security+).
• Background in using digital and analog test equipment, multiplexers, modems, and maintaining circuit/system records.
