SCITLS Network Configuration Manager

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Network Configuration Manager

• Manages DHCP scopes and capacity and manages option configuration.
• Responsible for tracking and reporting IP usage.
• Designs, implements, and maintains computer network configurations.
• Supports the development of an approved network infrastructure baseline and assist with maintaining configuration control and policy management of devices.
• Ensures optimal performance by analyzing network components, troubleshooting issues, and making adjustments to hardware and software settings.
• Tracks network performance metrics like bandwidth usage, latency, and packet loss to identify potential issues.
• Maintains detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Forecasts future network needs and ensuring adequate infrastructure is in place.
• Ensures network operations adhere to industry standards and regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree, 3+ years of experience
• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation; CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE
