🧭 Overview
Rackner is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to support the AFWERX Technical Operations Branch at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFRL/RGOS). This role is essential in securing defense innovation initiatives, including unmanned and manned flight testing, by ensuring compliance with federal security directives and protecting classified information.

💼 Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary FSO for AFRL/RGOS programs
Manage secure spaces and respond to alarm conditions
Ensure compliance with NISPOM, ITAR, and RMF guidelines
Prepare and coordinate DD254s, SCGs, SOW/SOO input, and security classification guidance
Control and safeguard classified materials (NIPR, DREN environments)
Coordinate foreign national access and travel requirements
Advise AFRL/AFWERX leadership on program protection strategies
Participate in flight test planning and implementation (manned/unmanned platforms)
Support Information Protection (IP), AT/FP, and related IPTs
✅ Required Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Clearance (Top Secret preferred)
3–5+ years in DoD/IC security or FSO-related roles
Familiarity with:
NISPOM
DD Form 254
ITAR (22 CFR 120–130)
RMF (Risk Management Framework)
Experience safeguarding classified material and managing secure spaces
Strong documentation, coordination, and stakeholder skills
Eligible or currently certified FSO (via CDSE or equivalent training)
🎯 Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
Prior work supporting AFWERX, AFRL, or other DoD innovation entities
Familiarity with cloud-based security environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
Knowledge of CUI, SAP, SCI access protocols
Experience supporting flight test security and planning
