The Enterprise Architecture will provide high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff. Develops architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines. Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development. Sets functional and technical standards for the effective management of IT and Operations. Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level architectural expertise to managers and technical staff, as the senior technical authority for strategic technical planning.
• Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
• Advise on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.
• Set functional and technical standards for the effective management of IT and Operations.
• Advise of feasibility of potential future projects to management.
• Provide high-level architectural expertise to DLA managers and technical staff.
• Develop and maintain the Joint Contingency & Expeditionary Services (JCXS) systems enterprise architecture materials.
• Develop and advise on functional and technical standards for the effective management of IT and Operations.
• Directly responsible for creating, maintaining, or having significant input into the following deliverables:
o Enterprise Architecture Materials. As the primary deliverable owned by the EA, it encompasses all diagrams, documents, and models that describe the current and future state of the JCXS technical environment.
o Enhancement/Interface Design Documentation. Help ensure the technical design of any new enhancement or interface aligns with the overall enterprise architecture, is scalable, and does not introduce unnecessary complexity or technical debt.
o Development Design Documentation. Lead the creation of the high-level design documentation for any new or redesigned system, ensuring it meets DLA's strategic goals for modernization and data-centricity.
o Alternative Analysis. Lead the technical assessment of different development approaches, platforms, or tools, providing the data-driven analysis and recommendation for the best path forward for any new development effort.
Essential Required Experience & Skills:
• Eight (8) years of experience in contingency contracting and/or experience in managing/using contingency tools.
• Must possess an active DOD Secret Clearance at time of proposal submission.
Educational Requirements:
• BS or BA or four (4) additional years of related experience.
Travel: Must be able to travel 50%.
