We are seeking a Fleet Management SME to join a high-impact team supporting the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD). This role is critical for evaluating, managing, and modernizing the operations of a large federal fleet. It is ideal for candidates with extensive federal fleet management experience, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to drive strategic improvement across vehicle lifecycle operations. Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. This role is in-person at the Pentagon.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• 5+ years in Federal Fleet Management operations
• 3+ years with Fleet Management Information Systems (FMIS) for non-tactical vehicle reporting
• Experience managing or advising on fleets of 20,000+ vehicles across various fuel types
• Proficient in establishing and interpreting fleet metrics
• Excellent client-facing presentation and communication skills

Responsibilities:
• Serve as SME on federal fleet management best practices and operations
• Analyze, report, and provide insights using FMIS data
• Support modernization of GSA-leased and agency-owned fleet operations
• Engage with senior-level government stakeholders to present findings and recommendations
• Assist in establishing SOPs and fleet lifecycle procedures
• Interpret and implement policy guidance related to non-tactical federal vehicle fleets
• Support agency-wide strategic fleet planning and efficiency initiatives
