This role is responsible for assessing requirements, managing procurement processes, and maintaining inventory systems for non-production materials, tools, and shop supplies. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tool Services Analyst to support our maintenance and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for assessing requirements, managing procurement processes, and maintaining inventory systems for non-production materials, tools, and shop supplies. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, procurement coordination, and supporting maintenance operations in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess maintenance and manufacturing requirements and verify customer requests for tools and supplies.
- Coordinate with internal support teams to resolve issues and mitigate impacts to budgets and schedules.
- Investigate changes in requirements and recommend solutions to meet emergent needs.
- Analyze, procure, and oversee procurement processes for tool services products and services.
- Manage inventory using digital systems to ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
- Facilitate acquisition of commodities using procurement systems in compliance with maintenance processes.
- Review on-hand inventory, coordinate redistribution, and support removal of obsolete items.
- Prepare reports to support organizational and contractual requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry specifications, engineering definitions, and process standards.
- Active Secret or higher security clearance
- 3+ years of experience managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment.
- 3+ years of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk mitigation.
- Experience using computer-based inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with Air Force Logistics Supply Systems, DOD inventory procedures, and publications.
- Experience with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Property (GFP), and inventory audits.
- Knowledge of GOLD / GOLDesp Inventory Management System.
- Experience supporting flight line maintenance and working with Ground Operating Procedures (GOPs) and DCMA 8210.1C.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to organize and resolve complex logistical issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital inventory tools.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Additional vocational training or certifications in logistics, inventory management, or procurement are a plus.
