Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contracts Support Specialist to support the US Space Force (USSF) in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a fully on-site role, starting remotely but moving to onsite once SCI access is fully complete.
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Responsibilities of the Contracts Support Specialist:
· Advise Program Managers and Senior Space Force Leadership on acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution
· Draft acquisition documentation including ESIS, ASP, ASD, J&A, and Source Selection Strategy
· Assist technical teams in developing statements of work and data deliverables for pre- and post-award actions
· Support contract negotiations, price analysis, administration, and termination procedures
· Prepare contract modifications for funding, award fees, performance extensions, and administrative updates
Requirements for the Contracts Support Specialist:
· Bachelor's degree required and minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
· Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS
· Familiarity with DoD Major Capability Acquisition System and JCIDS processes
· Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
· Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
· Willingness to be nominated for Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs
· Willingness to consent to a Polygraph examination
Desired Skills:
· Professional certification such as PMI PMP
· Experience in the National Security Space domain
· Background in U.S. Government weapons system program offices or development environments
Compensation for the Contracts Support Specialist:
· Annual salary: $120,000-150,000, depending on experience
