Front Desk Attendant / Facilities Manager

Job Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for attending to the front desk and managing facilities at the tenant organizations of the SFC Paul Ray Smith Center in Orlando Florida

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time

Worksite details: Onsite, Orlando, FL

Duties will include:
  • Open and close the STTC facility Responsible for securing the building at the beginning and end of each day, including unlocking entrances, powering up systems, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed during shutdown procedures.
  • Manage the logistics and day-to-day facility operations Oversee routine operational tasks such as coordinating maintenance, monitoring supply levels, and ensuring that all facility functions run smoothly to support staff and mission activities.
  • Reception/sign-in Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and personnel, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment while managing sign-in procedures and verifying credentials.
  • Perform basic and moderately complex clerical duties at the entry control point Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, document processing, and recordkeeping, while maintaining situational awareness and supporting access control procedures.
  • Receive official mail, sign for packages Accept and log incoming mail and deliveries, verify contents, and ensure timely distribution to appropriate personnel while maintaining accurate tracking records.
  • Provide responses to requests for assistance and information Address inquiries from staff, visitors, and external contacts by offering accurate information, resolving issues, or directing them to the appropriate resources or personnel.
  • Perform computer-related tasks using basic and advanced programs Utilize software tools ranging from standard office applications to specialized systems for data management, reporting, and communication, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in digital tasks.
  • Assist management by performing other duties as required in support of STTC laboratory operations as assigned Support leadership by taking on additional responsibilities as needed, which may include coordinating lab activities, preparing reports, or contributing to special projects that advance STTC's mission.


Position Requirements:
  • Secret Clearance
  • Experience in DoD Force Protection and facility access.
  • Prefer post high school education but degree not require.
  • Due to sensitive duties, a signed non-disclosure statement is required prior to beginning work.
