Job Summary:
We are seeking a CH-53K AIRCREW professional. By joining KBR, you will be a part of the world's largest independent flight test organization supporting both U.S. government, and commercial agencies, joining a highly talented and experienced KBR aircrew services team that has provided over 40 continuous years of Aircrew project support at Patuxent River. As a long-term incumbent and leader in flight test, the selected applicant will work within the NAVAIR test community composed of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel while supporting flight test.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a CH-53K AIRCREW professional. As a long-term incumbent and leader in flight test, the selected applicant will work within the NAVAIR test community composed of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel while supporting flight test.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- This position supports HX-21, a Developmental Test and Evaluation squadron at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), NAS Patuxent River, MD. The applicant will perform the ground and flight duties of a Helicopter Test Aircrewman/Crew Chief in the CH-53 aircraft. The selected candidate will support a wide range of NAWCAD test and evaluation activities to include test planning meetings, ground/flight event scheduling and coordination, test procedure development, flight briefings, test execution, and post event support. Occasional travel will be required to support this position.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS plus 10 years of experience. Military Training: Graduate of FRAC (Fleet Replacement Aircrew Curriculum) can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Graduate of U.S. Naval Aircrew Candidate School (NACCS), USAF Basic Helicopter Flight Engineer (BHFE), or USMC US Marine Enlisted Aircrew Training (MEAT) Program is required.
- A minimum of 1000 hours of experience as a helicopter aircrewman and 500 hours in the H-53 aircraft.
- Night Vision Device (NVD)/Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualification is required.
- Candidate must be able to pass the physical and training qualification requirements to provide contract aircrew support, including completion of U.S. Navy aviation physiology and water survival qualifications, as well as annual FAA Class II flight physical.
- A current Secret Security Clearance is required. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of USMC Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course is desired.
- Night Vision Device (NVD)/Night Vision Goggle (NVG) qualification is desired.
- Completion of USNTPS Fundamentals of Flight Test Short Course is desired.
- Bachelor's degree or current enrollment working toward a bachelor's degree is desired.
- Current aircraft qualifications are highly desired. Experience with Developmental Flight Test, to include Category C/D testing, is highly desired.

- $102,620 - $154,000
