Benefit selection, customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, certifications, and clearance status will influence the final salary.
Full benefits: $85,000 to $110,000 annually
Reduced benefits (no medical, dental, vision): Up to $122,000 annually

Solidus is hiring a Java Software Engineer. In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions.
This is an on-site role based in Richardson, TX.
Day in the Life:
- Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well
- US Citizen with an active Top Secret Clearance
- Undergo a comprehensive background investigation
- Obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- 2 years of Software Engineering experience
- Java, Python, and Bash shell scripting
- Dockers and Kubernetes
- Agile Software Development
- Active TS/SCI is preferred
- A degree in Computer Science
- Highly prefer experience with Spring/Springboot
- Java for development and management of containerized applications
- Python for automation and managing scripts that interact with container systems
- Bash writing shell scripts for automating tasks related to containerization
- AWS Cloud Technologies
- EC2, EKS, S3, and other cloud services to support containerized environments
- Ansible automating configuration management and deploying containerized applications
- Container technology creating, managing, and optimizing Docker containers
- Container orchestration, including deploying, scaling, and managing containers in a Kubernetes cluster
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in complex containerized environments
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, collaborate with DevOps engineers, and communicate technical details clearly
