We are seeking an experienced and proactive PMO Manager to oversee the operational excellence, strategic alignment, and delivery consistency of our PMO. In this role, you will lead the coordination, standardization, and continuous improvement of our PMO’s internal processes and methodologies. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Program Management to ensure the PMO operates efficiently, supports strategic objectives, and maintains exceptional internal standards. This position emphasizes leadership, operational discipline, and process maturity rather than day-to-day project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Director of Program Management to define, implement, and continuously improve PMO standards, processes, and best practices
Establish and maintain a robust framework for project lifecycle management including project initiation, execution, monitoring, risk management, and closure
Oversee the management and maintenance of centralized documentation repositories, process documentation, and standardized templates
Develop, implement, and manage internal dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to track resource utilization, team productivity, and overall PMO effectiveness
Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies within the PMO and drive initiatives for process optimization, automation, and standardization
Foster strong internal communication by coordinating regularly with project managers, analysts, and cybersecurity specialists to integrate feedback and ensure alignment
Lead PMO onboarding initiatives, ensuring new hires are effectively trained in PMO standards, tools, and procedures
Serve as a mentor and resource for PMO staff, driving team enablement and professional development
Required Qualifications
This position requires applicants to have current, interim eligibility or previous security clearance.
Candidates must have held or currently hold a clearance, or have documented eligibility based on a favorable background investigation.
Interim clearances will be accepted for consideration.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in PMO management, project management, operations leadership, or similar roles
Demonstrated experience establishing and maturing PMO processes, documentation standards, and internal reporting mechanisms
Advanced proficiency with project management software and reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and consensus
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal
Strategic thinker with a proven track record of implementing process improvements and enhancing operational effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma certification, or related credential
Background in cybersecurity, compliance, or experience within federal contracting environments
Knowledge of CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, or related regulatory frameworks
Experience developing internal training programs and process documentation
