Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Overview

RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC support
• Conduct site visits and prepare for work
• Prepare cost estimates
• Maintain project records and data
• Provide cleaning, painting, and grounds work support
• Assemble and move furniture

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate a personal computer with common/standard business software programs; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others both verbally and in writing
• Ability to enter data into multiple databases accurately
• Active Secret security clearance
• Minimum of five (5) years working experience and in-depth knowledge of related duties
• Ability to lift supplies and equipment weighing up to 85 pounds
• Ability to work in an environment with constant noise
• Valid current driver's license and the ability to drive government vehicles when required
