Duties
As the Air National Guard (ANG) STATE COMMAND CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT-TITLE 32, GS-0301-12, you will advise on, carry out, and monitor the Adjutant General (TAG)/Assistant Air General (ATAG) organizational policies, programs, and standards applicable to the ANG enlisted force. Serve as the TAG/ATAGs key enlisted advocate and advisor on all DoD, NGB, state, and unit level enlisted policies. Analyze and advise on administration, coordination, planning, development, and execution of all ANG enlisted programs. Identify ANG requirements and develop plans to support goals and objectives established by the DoD, Department of the Air Force, the ANG and TAG. Provide input and recommendations regarding the operations and activities applicable to ANG enlisted personnel. Manage and administer STEP I & II Program. Evaluate the execution of and supports ANG enlisted professional military education and professional development programs, and recruiting and retention programs. Participate on AGR Control grade promotion boards, ANG Enlisted Selection Boards, NCO leadership boards, and Retention Boards for ANG Senior NCOs. Participate in planning, publicizing and administering ANG enlisted awards, recognition, and special promotion programs. Advise TAG/ATAG, and ANG Wing Commanders on ANG enlisted nominations for ANG senior and key enlisted positions. Analyze laws, directives, regulations, and policies, and advise on impact on the duties and responsibilities of ANG enlisted personnel. Review and monitor directives of the TAG/ATAG to assure proper and timely guidance to subordinate units. Establish and maintain relationships with ANG Senior Officer and Enlisted international Partner and State Partnership Program. Promote and support the State's Civil Support Teams, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Enhanced Response Force Package and Homeland Emergency Readiness Response Force. Perform other duties as assigned.

You must maintain membership in the Kentucky National Guard.
You must be assigned to a compatible military position.
Wear of the military uniform.
Position may require a pre-employment physical.
May be subject to furlough actions.
May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudication of a T3 or equivalent investigation.
Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate a military bonus.
Acceptance of a Federal position will terminate Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility.
This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
Experience which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience and knowledge of the National Guard organization and its missions. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 36 months of leadership experience and in-depth knowledge of National Guard (NG) enlisted programs such as readiness, morale, welfare, discipline, performance, training, awards and recognition, recruiting, equal opportunity, promotion, assignment, administration and utilization of enlisted personnel. Experience developing and recommending enlisted policies.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment.
