SYSTEMTEC is seeking Sr. Systems Support Administrator for a hybrid opportunity in Columbia, SC. We are looking for someone to provide system/production support and monitoring for applications, batch cycles, releases, projects, installations, etc.
Onsite – Tues, Wed, and Thurs onsite
Standard Hours - 9:00AM - 5:30PM
Required Qualifications of the Sr. Systems Support Administrator:

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
4 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming experience or other job related IT experience.
Required Technologies: DB2 UDB database management, Strong knowledge of RHEL and AIX operating systems, bash, ksh, devops, best practices, containerization, understand backup\restore\disaster recovery strategies
Nice To Have: OpenShift, IBM IIAS, Kubernetes, Python, GitHub, DB2 UDB architecture experience, cloud administration, Commvault, implementing STIG and/or equivalent security standards, user id management strategies, troubleshoot and resolve networking/firewall issues
Responsibilities of the Sr. Systems Support Admin:
Participate in the modernization effort including implementing an IBM P10 data warehouse, moving from AIX servers to Linux, Implementing Python to replace SAS, Implementing new security measures and SSO, and implementing DevOps/DevSecOps
