TQI Solutions is seeking a Journeyman Computer Systems Analyst to support Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF). In this mid-level role, you will apply your expertise in reporting software management, data analytics, and application support to improve critical shipyard operations. You'll contribute to enterprise reporting solutions, support system availability, and enhance decision-making processes through advanced data visualization and analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Administer enterprise reporting platforms to support data analytics and business intelligence
- Develop custom ad hoc reports and data objects to meet complex business needs
- Configure reporting applications and optimize performance through advanced tuning
- Monitor and maintain interfaces between applications and databases
- Analyze complex data requirements and use cases from naval maintenance systems
- Design advanced reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support mission-critical operations
- Conduct trend analysis and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
- Monitor application availability and optimize system performance
- Perform daily operational checks, documenting results and troubleshooting proactively
- Support resolution of firewall and application connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and lifecycle changes
- Respond to technical tickets and provide advanced support for reporting software
- Submit weekly evidence of issue resolutions and closed tickets
- Create and maintain documentation, desk guides, and system standards
- Support computer audits, change control, and disaster recovery processes
- Install, patch, and upgrade third-party enterprise applications
- Collaborate across departments to resolve technical issues and implement system changes
- Develop local processes in alignment with shipyard regulations and IT policies
- Engage with stakeholders to assess needs and ensure project success
- Present technical findings to internal and external audiences
- Participate in working groups, testing, and evaluations of new software solutions
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field; OR 2 years of relevant experience
- 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting software, or data analytics
- CompTIA Security+ CE required; additional technical certifications preferred
- Proficiency in SAP Business Objects (Universe Designer, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports)
- Experience with QLIK tools (QlikView, QlikSense)
- Strong SQL skills for MS SQL Server and Oracle databases, including ETL processes
- Expertise in performance tuning, application configuration, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities
- This position may require night, weekend, or holiday support
