This role collaborates with subject-matter experts to deliver clear, accurate, and consistent documentation supporting program goals, compliance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, draft, and maintain documentation for ISO-related activities, including policies, procedures, technical reports, and summaries.
- Develop and manage a variety of documents for the Mission Office, such as procedural guides, training materials, meeting summaries, and communications.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Translate evaluation comments and technical feedback into clear, plain language suitable for public audiences.
- Establish and uphold standards for document formatting, version control, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support the creation of templates, flowcharts, and process diagrams to enhance understanding of complex workflows.
- Assist in the preparation and review of materials for presentations, response letters, and one-off submissions.
- Monitor updates in agency standards and incorporate relevant changes into documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in healthcare, research, or a regulated environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Must approach editing with confidence and independence, unafraid to substantially revise or rewrite unclear or poorly written material to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.
- Demonstrates the ability to provide candid, constructive feedback and make decisive editorial changes, even when revising work from senior staff or subject-matter experts.
- Able to prioritize clarity and effective communication above personal sensitivities, ensuring all documents meet high standards regardless of their original form.
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and able to deliver high-quality documentation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
- Maintains composure and attention to detail when managing multiple projects simultaneously and during periods of high demand.
