The National and Defense Intelligence Division operates within the Intelligence Center of MITRE's National Security Engineering Center (NSEC). We combine our domain expertise with leading technical capabilities to solve the hardest emerging and enduring problems challenging the national security enterprise.

The N925 Innovation Department helps partners with customers to redefine how the Intelligence Community integrates, analyzes and leverages data to empower decision makers and strengthen national security through advanced analytic solutions and integrated intelligence strategies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will serve as an Intermediate Intelligence Analyst, working to resolve the most difficult mission challenges faced by the Intelligence Community (IC). As a intelligence analyst, you will serve as a member of a team of MITRE professionals focused on leveraging various tools, data architectures and traditional/non-traditional data sources to solve critical intelligence gaps and be required to:

Roles & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will serve as an Intermediate Intelligence Analyst, working to resolve the most difficult mission challenges faced by the Intelligence Community (IC). As a intelligence analyst, you will serve as a member of a team of MITRE professionals focused on leveraging various tools, data architectures and traditional/non-traditional data sources to solve critical intelligence gaps and be required to:
- Provide direct support to Sponsors through technical recommendations and assistance with all-source analysis
- Apply scientific methods and technical tradecraft across the full range of intelligence missions in support of global operations.
- Develop, assess, and recommend adoption of advanced analytic techniques, including large language models, entity extraction/resolution, audio transcription, and other data analytic tools.
- Participating as part of a MITRE team to define, resolve, and deliver solutions to the most pressing technical challenges faced by the IC
- Support the development of a variety of analytical models to sponsor challenges
- Work with teams to produce concrete short-term tangible outputs that make progress towards larger, impactful outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS clearance and ability to obtain and retain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph within 6 monts of joining
- Recent experience that demonstrates familiarity with the Intelligence Community
- Experience researching, analyzing, and creating judgments on a variety of topics to produce written and oral briefs
- Practice researching and creating threat assessments.
- Typically requires at least 2 years of related experience with a related Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Master's degree in International Relations (or related science, technology, engineering, or math field)
- Recent experience synthesizing information and utilizing visual aids to produce high-quality analytic products
- Recent experience with multi-domain intelligence data (PAI, CAI, traditional Intel), data processing (data pipelines, structuring, models), data storage, data governance, data transformation (APIs, transformation, data fusion), and data visualization
