Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

    • Must be a US Citizen
    • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
    • This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to the job you are applying for.
    • Eight (08) years of experience as a Test Engineer (TE) on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
    • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution or (Alternate Qualification) Four (4) additional years of TE experience substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
    • Experience conducting research into and applying knowledge of government test and evaluation concepts to support engineering acquisition and operations activities.
    • Experience planning and executing performance analysis.
    • Experience analyzing performance risk areas to inform T&E planning.
    • Experience specifying, validating, and adapting modeling and simulation tools for T&E use.
    • Experience applying statistical analysis of performance variation to assess confidence in estimates.
    • Experience selecting, developing, and using analysis tools to support evaluation.
    • Experience executing evaluation plans using data collected by the testing team.
    • Experience planning and executing performance data collection.
    • Experience planning program and event-level testing to collect analysis data and synchronize with decision points.
    • Experience establishing and using data and configuration management capabilities.
    • Experience coordinating with systems engineering (SE) teams and reviewing T&E-related SE data to inform evaluation efforts.
    • Experience assessing operational environments and scenarios to support evaluation planning and user participation.
    • Experience planning risk-tailored estimation and analysis of effectiveness and suitability metrics across all levels of T&E (inspection, demonstration, paper analysis, simulation, physical test).
    • Experience designing surveys to evaluate Subject Matter Expert (SME) input and user performance estimates.
    • Experience producing evaluation plans, analysis plans, data requirements, risk assessments, and evaluation reports, and providing input to government T&E documentation.
    • Experience designing data sampling schemes to optimize resource use and control test uncertainty.
    • Experience coordinating data collection plans with T&E WIPTs and integrated test teams.
    • Experience executing testing and data collection in accordance with approved plans.
    • Experience producing test plans, test procedures, test reports/briefings, and data management plans.
    • Experience defining and providing technical guidance to junior test engineers (Level 0 and Level 1).
    • Experience reviewing and recommending draft plans and reports from junior test engineers for leadership approval.
    • Experience working directly with government sponsors to coordinate task implementation.
    • Experience maintaining knowledge of current and emerging standards related to system development.
    • Experience leading T&E tasks and serving as the primary liaison to the government for contract coordination.
    • Experience communicating issues and solutions across government and contract leadership.
    • Experience ensuring independence of the T&E team from the solution provider to mitigate objectivity risk.
    • Experience managing T&E resources, overseeing test tasks, and ensuring quality assurance in test execution.
    • Experience coordinating and integrating evaluation and testing tasks and deliverables.
    • Experience participating in T&E WIPTs and integrated test teams to align T&E activities.
    • Experience driving innovation and responsiveness to changing program needs, developing mitigation strategies, and continuously re-evaluating risks.


Desired Qualifications (These Qualifications would be Nice-to-Have)

    • Experience working with/developing system requirements documentation and working directly with stakeholders.


$130,000 - $210,000 a year
The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
