As an Integrated Air and Missile Defense ( IAMD ) Technical Writer, you'll bring your warfare area expertise to work on projects to improve the tactical readiness of forward deployed and rotationally deployed surface ships. You'll update, review, and develop tactical memorandum, bulletins, notes, and advisory messages in support of fleet units and tactical schools. You assist with development of Joint Publications, Navy Warfare Publications, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures ( TTP ) , and Concepts of Operation or Concepts of Employment. You'll work with technical, analytical, and fleet tactical experts to develop products and material for use in Navy classroom training. You'll be a t rus ted advisor to our customers, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies , and processes related to Ballistic Missile Defense ( BMD ) and IAMD tactics.

You'll impact the work we do in support of surface ship tactical training and the solutions we deliver for BMD and IAMD tactical development.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience developing or teaching BMD or IAMD doctrine or TTP
• 5+ years of experience developing high-quality graphics for presentations
• 5+ years of experience with graphics programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, or Premiere
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• 1+ years of experience working on an Echelon III or above staff
• Experience as an afloat Executive Officer or afloat Operations, Combat Systems, or C5I Department Head
• TS / SCI clearance

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
