Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Process Improvement Scribe to provide real-time transcription of all meetings, capturing critical information such as After-Action Review (AAR) suggestions, perspectives, process improvements, successes, failures, criticisms, and constructive feedback. This role ensures that detailed and actionable records are maintained to support continual improvement and future planning efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe meetings in real-time, capturing detailed input and feedback
  • Document AAR suggestions, perspectives, and points of view
  • Record process improvements, lessons learned, and identified successes/failures
  • Maintain organized, complete, and accurate meeting notes
  • Support the development of improvement plans and after-action documentation
  • Coordinate with Planning and Operations staff to ensure relevant information is captured and disseminated

Basic Qualifications:
  • Process improvement and mapping experience
  • 3+ years of work experience in the role
  • Excellent transcription, listening, and note-taking skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities
  • Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting emergency management or government operations
  • Familiarity with After-Action Report (AAR) processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaborative documentation tools

  • Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)
  • Relocation Assistance: Not applicable
  • Clearance Required: None
  • Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment

Working Environment:

Work is performed in Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), field environments, or remote coordination centers. Extended hours and travel may be required across the continental United States and its territories during emergency activations.
